Our Company
Captive Reef Ecosystems (CRE) is a company dedicated to bringing the pleasure of a reef with all of its living diversity to the home or business. We specialize in home and business captive reef consultation, design, supply, and construction.
We are a group of people from different backgrounds and careers who are all passionate and successful reef keepers. Together we share the same goal of maintaining and expanding captive reef ecosystems. Our accomplishments include maintaining and building numerous reef aquariums, supplying coral to the John G Shedd Aquarium in Chicago, and consulting numerous individuals and businesses on the construction, stocking and maintenance of a reef aquarium.
Our Philosophy
At CRE, we endeavor to create highly sustainable reef environments for our customers. Having and maintaining a reef aquarium can be complicated and time consuming. We simplify it by using time proven methods pioneered by marine biologists such as Delbeek, Sprung, Fosså, Nilsen, Tyree, Boorneman and many others. We believe in the highest quality products and services for all of our customers. We believe our customers are our greatest asset, and we are dedicated to serving their needs.
