Ricordea

Ricordea are quite colorful and are native to the Caribbean. The Ricordea we offer are from Florida and are becoming more scarce. They require MH or LED lighting to remain bright and beautiful but look best under the right combination of T5 lights. Ours are under LEDs and the picture was taken with a QTB-9500A Flash. Ricordea are generally very hardy and make outstanding additions to most reef aquariums. It is very popular to superglue a dozen or more to a rock and let it grow out. These Ric Rocks simply look awesome in any aquarium.

Ricordea feed primarily through photosynthesis. Spot feeding them tiny particles of food that they captured with their spirocysts will help them grow quicker. We feed ours Cyclop-Eeze.
